checkSURE Appoints Board Level IT Director

checkSURE is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Shepherd as Board level IT director.

Neil has considerable experience of directing the delivery of large scale IT projects. As Chief Executive of Abraxim Limited Neil led the team which built and developed the checkSURE eCommerce system.

Previously, Neil played a key integration role at XO Communications, and IT Director roles with Fullduplex Limited and large US concern Maritz. At Maritz, Neil was responsible for 80 staff and led performance improvement solutions to customers. This involved managing up to 120 simultaneous software development projects, supporting high value systems sales to Ford, Holiday Inn, General Motors, Barclays and a $20 million deal with IBM.

Commenting on Neil's appointment, checkSURE CEO Gary Ling noted, "Neil has spent his adult life seeking to gain a true understanding of how information technology can be deployed to achieve practical business results.
