• Gases - BOC Gases has manufacturing operations in around 50 countries and sales in may others, with more than two million customers, BOC Gases sell products that range from small welding torch nozzles to large nitrogen plants. Being the most global of any industrial gases company in the industry, BOC Gases serves markets in the automotive, chemicals, petroleum, electronics and semiconductor fabrication sectors. BOC Gases also sell environmental technologies; laser gases; safety and industrial safety equipment. As a result, their customers range from the metals manufacturing service to universities and medical research.

• Semiconductor - BOC Edwards has a mission to maximise value by offering a single source of technological expertise; innovative products and first class services. It is therefore not surprising that they are now a leading supplier of integrated solutions to the semiconductor industries globally. As well as producing equipment such as vacuum pumps, chemical blend and dispense systems; and measurement instrumentation, BOC Group also provide services such as tool component cleaning and a full range of on-site and consultancy options.

• Vacuum - a world leader in vacuum technology for scientific, industrial and semi-conductor processing applications, BOC Edwards develops, manufactures and supports a wide range of vacuum pumps, systems and accessories.

• Supply Chain Solutions - Gist, as part of BOC specialises in designing, managing and operating supply chain solutions for clients globally. Gist operate in a variety of markets, trading locally and internationally. Their four main business activities are: Supply chain operations; Consulting services; Managed solutions and E-Fulfilment.

• Afrox Hospitals - with over 12 600 employees, Afrox Hospitals has the largest chain of private hospitals in South Africa. As a result, they are also one of the larger employers in South Africa. Afrox Hospitals also encompasses a number of different healthcare services: Afrox Occupational Healthcare; Direct Medicines; Hospital Medical Services and Afrox Pharmacy Management Services.
