This information enables you to make an informed decision on the type of report to buy. After completing the directors' search, you can take the first step in finding more information about the director. This can be done by choosing either a director report or a full company report.

Director Reports

If after completing the director search you find your target individual has more than one directorship, the checkSURE Director report is what you need. This will include the following information if applicable.

• Personal information of the director as shown on the director search, including occupation, address, nationality and date of birth.

• Directorships held for live companies, dissolved companies and resigned directorships

• Company details of live companies. This would include registration number and company name, names of other directors of the company, a risk score and credit guide on the company.

The source of the information in checkSURE director reports is Companies House. The information in directors' reports is bound by legislation of the UK Data Protection act. This means that information available is limited to that filed at Companies house which relates to the target directors position as a director or secretary of a private or public company.

Companies House have their own Directors search for disqualified directors. The information is extracted from the Register of Companies and Register of Disqualified Directors. This type of directors search facility is to prevent an individual becoming a director that has been legally barred from holding directorships. Disqualified individuals are prohibited from directly or indirectly managing companies during their period of disqualification. checkSURE director search does not include information about disqualified directors.
