Nowadays only large corporations seems to have teams of people whose function is to do a credit check. In the checkSURE office credit check has become a living thing since Andy, one of our computer programmers, has recently started to bring in his new dog into the building. He was looking to give it an original name and someone suggested calling it 'credit check' - since Andy has been instrumental in creating Britain's most advance credit checking eCommerce platform for checkSURE.
 Now as you can see from this photo Credit Check is a rough looking Mutt who rarely sits still for two seconds let alone two minutes. Yet he is an inquisitive little devil who is determined to find what he is tasked. In light of this credit check may be just the name that suits his temperament.
A Pukka was immediately called (this is a team meeting where we all pukka up our views on the chosen topic) and before long we had concluded two things about the name credit check. One, it was OK for a dog to be called 'credit check' but this was really a show name. Something that you would see at Crufts: "And the winner is 'Credit Check' - a dog owned by Mr and Mrs Experian, from Watford". Two, that checkit would be it's name for everyday use. So when Andy was in the park calling for the Mutt he would scream.
Checkit rather than 'Credit Check'. On the other hand for special occasions this master specimen of a Dog would be known as Credit Check by one and all. This all may seem a bit silly. But the checkSURE team had to live everyday with examples of customers who do credit checks AFTER rather than BEFORE they do business for substantial sums of money. The results often aren't all that pretty. Bad debt and shattered dreams often result. The lesson is credit check now - and often. Like a dog who never forgets.
In short, it seems unbelievable that you wouldn't want to credit check the history of someone who was about to take out all the windows where you live. Let's face it if they went bust before they put new ones in you would feel the cold winds of a business crashing in more ways than one. In fact the moral of this tale is that you get a warm feeling from a credit check.
